Collaborative care is at the centre of effective treatment for eating disorders.

People with eating disorders often have other mental and physical health conditions, so it is important for us to work closely with other professionals involved in a person’s care.

These may include, but are not limited to:

  • GPs
  • Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS)
  • Primary Care Psychological Therapies Services
  • Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs)
  • Crisis Teams
  • General Hospitals
  • Children and Adolescents Mental Health Teams
  • Inpatient Mental Health Units (including specialist eating disorder units such as Cotswold House)

If you are a professional working with someone who is showing signs of an eating disorder, please contact us.

We can offer a consultation and if appropriate, discuss the referral process.
