This month, the NHS marks its NHS 78^th birthday by introducing 78 inspirational NHS colleagues from across the South East, sharing their stories and the vital work they do to help deliver the 10 Year Health Plan.

Included are Oxford Health’s own, Registered Nursing Associate Jess Higgs; Clinical Specialist, CAMHS Community Services (Wilts/BaNES), Jamie Terrone and Learning Technology Lead, Adrian Krajewski, who shared their stories.

Spanning frontline care to behind-the-scenes roles, Jess, Jamie and Adrian are driving improvement, innovation and better outcomes while reducing inequalities for patients and communities.

Jess Higgs, Registered Nursing Associate within the Abingdon District Nursing team, passed her Apprenticeship gaining experience on an older adult mental health ward and now works as a District Nurse supporting patients, making a difference helping people and their families in their everyday lives when they need help most.

Jamie Terrone, Clinical Specialist, CAMHS Community Services (Wilts/BaNES) for the work with some of the most vulnerable young people before and after they leave hospital to find their footing again in the community keeping young people out of hospital.

Adrian Krajewski, Learning Technology Lead in the Trust’s Learning & Development Team, has been recognised for excellence and innovation through his leadership, creativity and collaboration to improve learning experiences, boosting productivity, and strengthening staff competence and confidence within Oxford Health.
