Two Oxford Health professionals, Angela Conlan and Paula Har, have co-authored a chapter in a new book launching the week of 17 November.
The publication, The Creative Dementia Practice Handbook, highlights innovative approaches to dementia care and reflects the growing importance of creative health in clinical practice.
As part of the launch week, Angela and Paula will also be teaching on the Trust’s dementia MSc module, sharing insights from their work and research.
Their highly evaluated session, which explores the role of the arts in dementia care, forms part of a wider programme of clinical master’s modules and reflects Oxford Health’s commitment to embedding creative health in education and practice.
Angela said:
“We’re delighted to contribute to this book and to bring our experience into the classroom. Creative approaches can make a real difference in dementia care.”
The book launch and teaching sessions underline Oxford Health’s dedication to advancing dementia care through education, research, and creativity.
