How do know when a child is teething

Teething is when your baby’s teeth start to come through.

You might notice:

· your baby dribbles more

· they chew on things

· they seem a bit upset . You can get help and tips on teething if you are unsure.

Tips for caring for your child’s teeth

Looking after your baby’s mouth is important. It helps keep their teeth healthy as they grow.

It is important to start looking after your baby’s teeth early.

You can:

· start cleaning their teeth when they appear

· gently brush them every day

· make it part of your daily routine.  This helps your baby learn good habits as they grow.
