Freedom to Speak up
The Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) service provides a safe and confidential way for staff, students and volunteers to raise concerns about anything that may affect patient care, staff wellbeing or the quality and safety of services.
We encourage people to speak up about issues such as poor patient care, inappropriate behaviour, bullying or harassment, and unsafe working conditions.
Our Freedom to Speak Up Guardians offer independent support and guidance, helping individuals to raise concerns and ensure they are listened to and addressed appropriately.
Speaking up helps us create a safer, more positive environment for everyone and supports continuous improvement across the organisation.
