These sessions create an opportunity for people to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Share their experiences<\/li>\n<li>Offer mutual support<\/li>\n<li>Connect in a non-judgemental and understanding environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to join<\/h2>\n<p>You can join SUN through self-referral. There is no formal assessment required.<\/p>\n<p>To get started, you\u2019ll need to complete a <strong>Resource and Support Plan (RASP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Once this is done, you are welcome to attend SUN groups as often as you like.<\/p>\n<h2>What is a Resource and Support Plan (RASP)?<\/h2>\n<p>The RASP is designed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help other group members understand how best to support you during sessions<\/li>\n<li>Support you in identifying ways to look after yourself outside the group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During your first few sessions, other members will help you complete your plan and settle into the group.<\/p>\n<h2>Accessing other services<\/h2>\n<p>Attending SUN groups does <strong>not<\/strong> affect your access to other services. You can continue receiving support elsewhere.
