Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (OSRU)
Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit is a 20-bed inpatient unit based at Abingdon Community Hospital.
We provide care for level 3 stroke patients through a short period of inpatient rehabilitation for individuals who have had a stroke, are registered with an Oxfordshire GP, and are not yet able to be discharged directly home from hospital, with a typical length of stay between 4–6 weeks
Referrals to the unit are accepted from acute stroke units only.
