Low Secure Forensic Inpatients — Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire
What we do
The low secure forensic mental health service provides a step-down from higher levels of security and includes inpatient and pre-discharge care for men and women on the Littlemore Hospital site and in Aylesbury.
Our facilities
At Littlemore, Oxfordshire:
- Wenric Ward can accommodate 21 men
- Lambourn House (an open pre-discharge Unit) can accommodate 10 men and 5 women
- Thames House is enhanced low secure accommodation for 26 women.
In Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire:
- Woodlands House can accommodate 20 men.
The mixed gender services are all fully compliant with national requirements, providing separate living areas (in keeping with the elimination of mixed gender accommodation).
