{"id":367,"date":"2023-07-20T10:05:48","date_gmt":"2023-07-20T09:05:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/sn\/?page_id=367"},"modified":"2025-09-17T13:13:34","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T12:13:34","slug":"contraception-and-sexual-health","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/school-health-nurses\/college\/contraception-and-sexual-health\/","title":{"rendered":"Contraception and Sexual Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The College Nurses are able to provide a confidential contraception and sexual health service to students 19 years and under, which includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sexual health advice<\/li>\n<li>Emergency contraception, pills, patch, injection and the implant<\/li>\n<li>Free condoms under the Safety C Card Scheme<\/li>\n<li>Chlamydia and gonorrhoea screening<\/li>\n<li>Chlamydia treatment<\/li>\n<li>Pregnancy testing and advice about unplanned pregnancy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Confidentiality<\/h2>\n<p>The College Nurse service is confidential.\u00a0 You can discuss personal information in confidence.<\/p>\n<p>We would only pass on any information in order to protect someone from serious harm.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever possible we would discuss this with a young person first.
