This \u201chigh risk state\u201d is difficult to diagnose because its symptoms are shared with many other conditions.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our aims<\/h2>\n<p>We hope to help people get their lives back on track and move forward in whatever ways they consider most important and meaningful.<\/p>\n<p>As a service, we aim to continually improve the care we provide \u2013 whether this is improving diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we offer<\/h2>\n<p>We currently offer support for up to two years, for people struggling with unusual experiences like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/open.mhid.org.uk\/unusual-experiences\/coping-with-unusual-experiences\/voice-hearing-and-visions\/\">hearing voices<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/open.mhid.org.uk\/unusual-experiences\/coping-with-unusual-experiences\/mistrust-suspiciousness-paranoia\/\">feeling paranoid<\/a>, including assessments, signposting to other services and opportunities to get involved in research.<\/p>\n<p>We offer:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Talking therapies<\/li>\n<li>Medical consultation<\/li>\n<li>Practical support with issues such as housing and finances<\/li>\n<li>We also offer family meetings and support for carers<\/li>\n<li>The option to participate in research studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
