Legal basis

The Trust processes personal information for the purpose of the provision of health care treatment. This is a “Public Task” as set down in UK Law. This is the primary lawful basis the Trust relies on to process health information.

There may be occasions where the Trust needs to use the lawful basis of consent.  In such circumstances this will be explained to you at the point of obtaining your consent.
