Treatment is directed at three specialist areas of care:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>People with diabetes, immunocompromised conditions and\/or other circulatory or neurological conditions that can affect foot health.<\/li>\n<li>People who have developed acute foot ulceration.<\/li>\n<li>People with ingrowing toe nails that will either need conservative or surgical treatment to remedy the condition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Regrettably, NHS podiatry services are unable to provide treatment for people who do not fall into one of the above categories. Details of private registered podiatrists can be obtained from the <a href=\"https:\/\/rcpod.org.uk\/find-a-podiatrist#FIND.PODIATRIST\">Royal College of Podiatry <\/a>or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hcpc-uk.org\/\">Health and Care Professions Council<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For further advice on whether you would be eligible for NHS podiatry, you should contact your GP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NHS podiatry services are offered free of charge.
