{"id":130,"date":"2022-11-11T09:23:21","date_gmt":"2022-11-11T09:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/talking-therapies-oxon\/?p=130"},"modified":"2023-03-11T09:33:03","modified_gmt":"2023-03-11T09:33:03","slug":"better-housing-better-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/oxon-talking-therapies\/2022\/11\/11\/better-housing-better-health\/","title":{"rendered":"Better housing, better health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Better Housing Better Health (BHBH) is a longstanding service working to reduce the number of people in fuel poverty and improve domestic warmth &amp; wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>It is coordinated by the National Energy Foundation but involves many other organisations across the following regions, with cross-referral mechanism in place to maximise the benefit to residents of each organisation\u2019s field of expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Their experienced team provides free, confidential, and tailored solutions to meet a home\u2019s specific circumstances including switching energy suppliers, maximising income, signing up to the Priority Services Register, and accessing funding to help support them.<\/p>\n<p>In a preventative approach to health and wellbeing, our service provides residents with a single point of contact to get impartial expert advice to help improve the energy efficiency of their home, save money and improve comfort.<\/p>\n<p>This is a free service, supported by Oxfordshire County Council.
