Hold the date!
Working with the CHCC (College of Health Care Chaplains) and Regent’s Park College, Oxford, OxCSWell are organising a day conference in Oxford on Tuesday, 30th June on the topic of Chaplaincy Research.
The aim of the day is to support and encourage all those (from whatever faith or belief tradition) who have an interest in research into chaplaincy and spiritual care within a healthcare context in the UK. The day will include practical workshops as well as the three presentations below:
- Dr Andrew Todd: From Bright Idea to Feasible Research Project
Andrew is Director of the Professional Doctorate in Practical Theology, delivered in partnership with the Cambridge Theological Federation. His major research interests relate to contemporary religion and spirituality. - Dr Mark Newitt: Developing a Practical Audit Tool for Chaplaincy
Mark is the Secretary for Healthcare Chaplaincy at the Free Churches Group and a current healthcare chaplain. He is committed to supporting and developing safe, high quality, evidence-based inclusive healthcare chaplaincy. - Dr Helen Cameron: Considering a PhD? The pros and cons
Helen is a practical theologian and Director of Research at Regent’s Park College, Oxford. She is passionate about enabling excellent research and communicating that research to audiences within and beyond the university.
