Inpatient services are available for those who are no longer able to manage their mental health needs at home and need to stay in hospital for a while.<\/p>\n
Some people might need a brief stay with lots of intensive treatment and support whilst some people who have more severe and enduring mental health conditions may have more frequent admissions.<\/p>\n
During a patient\u2019s stay in hospital, they are offered a variety of different approaches to help with their mental health including talking therapies, medical management, social skills training and assessment of needs and medication.<\/p>\n
