She has over 30 years\u2019 experience of working in various adult mental health teams from primary to tertiary care.<\/p>\n<p>She has extensive experience of applying CBT with a wide range of clinical presentations. She has specialist interests in working with anxiety disorders and with survivors of complex trauma.<\/p>\n<p>Alison is a course tutor on the PG Cert in CBT for Psychological Trauma and in her role as a trainer and supervisor with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC) has supported a wide range of clinicians working with trauma and other presentations, from beginner to expert level, both in the UK and overseas.<\/p>\n<p>As well as her clinical work with OHSPIC, Alison also works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with the Medic Support Service, offering CBT interventions to post-graduate doctors, dentists, and pharmacists training in the Thames Valley.<\/p>\n<p>She has published several book chapters related to CBT practice and research papers in the areas of CBT training, service innovations, and physician mental health.<\/p>\n<details class=\"nhsuk-details nhsuk-expander\">\n                    <summary class=\"nhsuk-details__summary\">\n                        <span class=\"nhsuk-details__summary-text\">Selected publications<\/span>\n                    <\/summary>\n                    <div class=\"nhsuk-details__text\">\n<p>Croft, A., Lascelles, K., Brand, F., Carbonnier, A., Gibbons, R., Wolfart, G. and Hawton, K.
