Alison trained as a Clinical Psychologist in Oxford. She has over 30 years\u2019 experience of working in various adult mental health teams from primary to tertiary care.<\/p>\n
She has extensive experience of applying CBT with a wide range of clinical presentations. She has specialist interests in working with anxiety disorders and with survivors of complex trauma.<\/p>\n
Alison is a course tutor on the PG Cert in CBT for Psychological Trauma and in her role as a trainer and supervisor with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC) has supported a wide range of clinicians working with trauma and other presentations, from beginner to expert level, both in the UK and overseas.<\/p>\n
As well as her clinical work with OHSPIC, Alison also works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with the Medic Support Service, offering CBT interventions to post-graduate doctors, dentists, and pharmacists training in the Thames Valley.<\/p>\n
