Dr Alison Croft
Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Alison trained as a Clinical Psychologist in Oxford. She has over 30 years’ experience of working in various adult mental health teams from primary to tertiary care.
She has extensive experience of applying CBT with a wide range of clinical presentations. She has specialist interests in working with anxiety disorders and with survivors of complex trauma.
Alison is a course tutor on the PG Cert in CBT for Psychological Trauma and in her role as a trainer and supervisor with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC) has supported a wide range of clinicians working with trauma and other presentations, from beginner to expert level, both in the UK and overseas.
As well as her clinical work with OHSPIC, Alison also works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with the Medic Support Service, offering CBT interventions to post-graduate doctors, dentists, and pharmacists training in the Thames Valley.
She has published several book chapters related to CBT practice and research papers in the areas of CBT training, service innovations, and physician mental health.
