Welcome to Quality Improvement
Working together to make care safer, more effective, and more person‑centred.
The Quality Improvement Team (QI) supports staff, patients, carers and communities to improve the quality of services.
Using evidence‑based QI methods, data, and lived experience, we test changes that lead to better outcomes and experiences for everyone.
About the QI Team
The QI Team supports practical improvements across the range of services in the organisation.
We help teams identify opportunities, design small tests of change, measure impact, and sustain and spread.
We believe the best ideas come from the people closest to the work and those who use our services.
What we do
- Support local improvement projects: coaching teams to define aims, map processes, and test changes.
- Build skills, confidence and empower staff to be curious about improving through our training programme.
- Use data for learning: making data meaningful to guide decisions and track progress over time.
- Encourage co‑production: involving people with lived experience at every stage.
- Share and spread good practice: connecting teams, showcasing impact, and scaling what works.
- Enable a culture of continuous improvement: focusing on learning, safety and teamwork across teams in the organisation.
