Our Oxford Health charity launched at our first every Healthfest, as we took part in Oxford Open Doors.

We opened the doors of the historic Warneford Hospital in Oxford on Saturday 8th September, welcoming local people to join us for a host of activities at our first ever Healthfest. The event was also the launch of Oxford Health Charity and part of Open Doors Oxford.

Cream teas, lucky dip, face painting, tombola, and quiz were just some of the activities on offer alongside a chance to walk through the beautiful Warneford Meadow and look around parts of the hospital’s historic 19th century building not usually open to the public.

Guests had also a chance to learn about the trust’s future developments, such as a collaboration with Dogs for Good, a charity that trains dogs to provide assistance and companionship for people with dementia.

One hundred members of our foundation trust won cream teams at the event, and there were concerts, shorts films, art exhibition and some 40 exhibitors with their stalls.
