We are developing Oxford Health’s next five-year strategy, and we want to make sure it is shaped by the people who work with us, receive care from us, the communities we serve and partner with us across our local system.

The work to develop our new strategy builds on the Government’s 10-year health plan, which sets clear expectations for organisations to deliver the three key shifts; from hospital to community, from analogue to digital, and from sickness to prevention, and introduces Neighbourhood Health Plans at place level.
These national changes sit alongside local pressures such as population growth, areas of deep inequality, and increasing demand for care closer to home.
What is Phase 2 about?
During our Phase 1 engagement, colleagues, patients, families, carers and partners shared what they value, what could be improved, and what matters most for the future.
We have used this insight to shape an emerging strategy— including our vision, purpose, aims and priorities.
In Phase 2, we are sharing this emerging strategy and asking people to tell us:
• whether these draft aims and priorities feel right
• where we may need to strengthen or adjust the focus
• whether anything important is missing
We want to make sure our strategy is practical, ambitious and grounded in what matters to the people we serve and work alongside.
Your feedback will shape the draft strategy that we aim to finalise by summer 2026.
