The Improving Patient Experience Award gives you the opportunity to recognise the outstanding care and support given to you, by a member of staff or a team, that you feel has made a real difference to your experience.

Individuals or teams should demonstrate the following:

• They delivered excellent care.
• They went the extra mile to communicate with you about your treatment and care.
• They treated you with kindness and respect.

Co-production is built on the principle that those who receive a service are best placed to help design and improve it.

We value and welcome patients, service users and carers who through their lived experience supports the Trust to develop informed services and interventions that meet the needs of those who use them.

This award invites staff, service users, patients or carers to nominate a project or activity that has been co-produced and meets the following criteria;

• Shows collaborative working between service users, patients or carers and the Oxford Health services.
• Committed to ongoing improvements for patients, service users and carers.
• Reflects on lived experience to help and contribute toward improved service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Acts with Kindness and Respect.
• Demonstrates inclusivity.
