We’re so grateful to the 3,650 colleagues who took the time to complete the survey and give us their feedback on working at Oxford Health. This feedback is vital to informing the priority areas of focus for our people.
The 2024 Staff Survey results are now in, and we are pleased to see that we are above the national average for 8 of the 9 areas and in line with the average in one.
Here are some of the highlights:
Of the five questions the Trust scored highest in compared to the national average, two are the central questions in the survey:
- 73.7% strongly agreed / agreed that ‘If a friend / relative needed treatment I would be happy with standard of care provided by organisation’ compared to the national average of 64.84%. The Trust’s score for this question has improved by 2.8% compared to the Trust’s 2023 score.
- 71.5% strongly agreed / agreed they ‘would recommend my organisation as a place to work’ compared to the national average of 65.21%. The Trust’s score for this question has improved by 2.4% compared to the Trust’s 2023 score.
The Staff Survey is also an important chance to learn more about what is not working well. Two of our lowest questions compared with the national average were:
- 44.87% felt like they can meet conflicting demands on their time compared to the national average of 49.24%.
- 24.97% of respondents said they have experienced musculoskeletal problems in the last 12 months because of work activities compared to 23.32% nationally.
