A key requirement of the Government\u2019s mandate to Health Education England is to ensure the development of an NHS work force with the right behaviours, values and skills to deliver quality patient care and be responsive to the diverse and changing needs of patients and the public.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publications.parliament.uk\/pa\/cm201314\/cmhansrd\/cm130617\/text\/130617w0004.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Poulter, 17 June 2013 Hansard, House of Commons<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Health Education England (HEE) works across seeven local areas. Thames Valley and Wessex sit in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hee.nhs.uk\/about\/how-we-work\/your-area\/south-east\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">South East region<\/a>. There are five Postgraduate Medical Education teams (covering primary care) including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thamesvalley.hee.nhs.uk\/recruitment\/gp\/gp-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thames Valley<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wessex.hee.nhs.uk\/wider-workforce\/primary-care\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wessex.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The<strong> HEE Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) programme <\/strong>from HEE and the Higher Education Academy (HEA) was announced in October 2013 to oversee the launch and development of a TEL hub.\u00a0The hub will be the first port of call for TEL information and resources which will focus on simulation, e-Learning and m-Learning (Mobile Learning).<\/p>\n<p>Follow developments of the TEL hub <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hee.nhs.uk\/our-work\/technology-enhanced-learning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>\u00a0or follow on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HEE_TEL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">twitter<\/a> @HEE_TEL. There are two TEL Forums in the South region, (Southwest and Thames Valley &amp;\u00a0 Wessex).
