Digital Technology is important part of the future of health services, in particular primary care including GP Online services<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS<\/a>), public health interactive tools such as the Heart Age Test<\/a> app.<\/p>\n

In its Digital Doctor?<\/span> survey Ipsos have examined attitudes and behaviours of primary care physicians in 18 key countries with insights on artificial intelligence, telemedicine, social media use, and recommendation of apps\/wearables. See the highlights here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Social media toolkit for the NHS<\/a> from NHS Employers contains all you need as a communications lead, team or organisation to review and refresh how you are using social media.<\/p>\n

Medical Apps<\/strong><\/p>\n

New digital apps and tools are empowering people to take control of their health and improving patient care.<\/p>\n

Digital Technology Assessment Criteria for health and social care (DTAC)<\/a> will form a baseline for digital health and care technologies enabling both patients and the system to adopt relevant, safe and innovative technologies much more quickly.<\/p>\n

The NHS Apps library<\/a>\u00a0 includes health and wellbeing apps which have been through an assessment process<\/a>.\u00a0 As of 1 November 2020, assessment of apps for the library\u00a0will be carried out by NHS X.<\/p>\n

Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Applications (ORCHA) carry out independent and impartial reviews of health and care related apps – search their medical app finder.<\/a><\/p>\n
