BOB STP Excellence Centre

A new Centre of Excellence working to improve the quality and access to training for the support workforce across the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West STP footprint launches on 29 May.

The Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West STP Excellence Centre aims to support all unregistered health and care staff across a range of settings and agencies, including NHS acute, community and mental health trusts, social care provision in nursing, residential and domiciliary settings, and other private or voluntary providers of care.

The Excellence Centre has been working with a range of providers interested in the development of the health and care sector support staff workforce (bands 1 -4). Initial projects include a Nurse Cadet Scheme and  access to the National Skills Academy for Health platform.

Membership of the Excellence Centre is free for the first year.

The launch of the BOB Excellence Centre will be on  29 May 2019 (1.30pm – 2.30pm, refreshments included) at the Oak Room, Unipart House, Garsington Road, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 2PG.
