Trust wide
Experience & Involvement forum
The Experience & Involvement forum is a trust wide group made up of staff, patients, family carers and governors.
Aims
The forum aims to lead and oversee the implementation of the objectives of the Trust’s experience and involvement strategy.
This strategy was developed to improve how people who use services and their families are involved and empowered to make shared decisions about their care, and to have greater co-production in service changes and developments.
When does it meet?
The forum meets every two months to oversee the work of the trust.
All meetings are 1.5 hours long.
Agenda
An agenda and notes are developed for each meeting which are available for all members.
The forum is co-chaired by someone with lived experience and the trust’s deputy director of quality.
