Yes. This is a referral-only service. You will need to be referred by your General Dental Practitioner or another healthcare professional.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n What kind of patients is this service for?<\/span>\n <\/summary>\n
\n

We support individuals who may find it difficult to receive dental care in a standard setting, including those with mental health challenges, learning difficulties, or severe dental anxiety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n What happens after I\u2019m referred?<\/span>\n <\/summary>\n
\n

Once we receive your referral, our team will review the information and contact you (or your carer) to arrange an initial assessment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n Will I have to pay for my treatment?<\/span>\n <\/summary>\n
\n

NHS dental charges usually apply, but some people may qualify for full or partial exemptions. Your referring dentist or our team can help you understand if this applies to you.<\/p>\n

\n \n What if I\u2019m very nervous or scared of the dentist?<\/span>\n <\/summary>\n

We understand that dental visits can be difficult. Our team is specially trained to work with anxious patients, and we\u2019ll take the time to make you feel as safe and comfortable as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/details>\n

\n \n Will I be put to sleep for treatment?<\/span>\n <\/summary>\n
\n

Not always.
