The team is made up of Mental Health professionals.<\/p>\n<p>We aim to reduce and remove barriers to anyone seeking mental health advice and support for young people aged between 5 -18 years and who are registered with a Buckinghamshire GP practice.<\/p>\n<p>SPA accepts referrals via our online portal or via telephone. Any young person 16+years can make a self-referral.<\/p>\n<p>Calls and enquiries from any individual, including young people who may want to find out about the Service or who are worried about their mental health or wellbeing will be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>If a young person needs help we will talk with them about involving their parents or other key adults in a timely manner. We will never turn away any young person who is asking for help and will engage them with the service or help them to get the support they need elsewhere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n                <\/details>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<div class=\"ohft-box gray\">\n<h2>PPEP care sessions<\/h2>\n<p>These free Psychological Perspectives in Education and Primary (PPEP) training sessions have been designed to help staff in primary care and education along with other professionals to help recognise and understand mental health difficulties in children and young people, and offer appropriate support and guidance to children, young people and their families.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nhsuk-action-link\"><a class=\"nhsuk-action-link__link\" href=\"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/camhs\/bucks\/spa\/ppep\/\" target=\"_self\"><span class=\"nhsuk-action-link__text\">Training dates 2025<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Single Point of Access (SPA) team serves as the front door for Buckinghamshire CAMHS.
