We diagnose and treat adults with the following eating disorders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/mental-health\/conditions\/anorexia\/overview\/\">Anorexia nervosa <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/mental-health\/conditions\/bulimia\/\">Bulimia nervosa<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/mental-health\/conditions\/binge-eating\/\">Binge eating disorder<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beateatingdisorders.org.uk\/get-information-and-support\/about-eating-disorders\/types\/osfed\/\">Other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Where we work<\/h2>\n<p>The service is based at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/services\/hospital\/whiteleaf-centre\/RNUGP\/contact-details\">Whiteleaf Centre<\/a>, Aylesbury. Appointments may also be offered at Saffron House in High Wycombe, depending on clinician availability.<\/p>\n<h2>What we offer<\/h2>\n<p>We offer treatment in the community.<\/p>\n<h2>Our team<\/h2>\n<p>We are a multidisciplinary team, which includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administrators<\/li>\n<li>Specialist Nurses<\/li>\n<li>Specialist Dieticians<\/li>\n<li>Psychiatrists<\/li>\n<li>Psychologists<\/li>\n<li>Mental Health Practitioners<\/li>\n<li>Support Workers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How we help<\/h2>\n<p>We support people with eating disorders through assessment and specialist treatments such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E and CBT-T)<\/li>\n<li>Maudsley treatment for eating disorder (MANTRA)<\/li>\n<li>Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM)<\/li>\n<li>Body image and self-esteem interventions<\/li>\n<li>Guided Self-Help<\/li>\n<li>Meal planning<\/li>\n<li>Weight restoration support<\/li>\n<li>Nutrition groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All our staff have specialist skills and training to support someone with an eating disorder.<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-id=\"8907ecc8-235c-4ed3-8035-0feed11f715f\">Confidentiality<\/h2>\n<p data-block-id=\"c4513699-0a92-4027-a160-33caa78e4fa2\">Everything you say is confidential. We keep records on a secure system and share information with the team, but we do not share to anyone beyond this without your consent.<\/p>\n<p data-block-id=\"c4513699-0a92-4027-a160-33caa78e4fa2\">We would only break confidentiality if we were worried you or someone else was at risk of harm, and we would discuss this with you beforehand.<\/p>\n<p data-block-id=\"c4513699-0a92-4027-a160-33caa78e4fa2\">We would ask you who the best person for us to speak to would be.
