{"id":363,"date":"2025-12-02T13:27:31","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T13:27:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/baadis\/?page_id=363"},"modified":"2025-12-02T13:28:04","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T13:28:04","slug":"qi","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/baadis\/service\/qi\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality Improvement project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The BAADIS quality improvement (QI) project focused on making our services more accessible for autistic individuals.<\/p>\n<p>Quality Improvement is a structured approach used in healthcare to identify challenges, test changes, and measure outcomes to ensure services are continuously evolving to meet the needs of those who use them.<\/p>\n<p>In this project, we worked collaboratively with service users and staff to understand barriers to accessibility and implement practical, autism-informed adjustments.<\/p>\n<p>These included changes to communication styles, physical environments, and appointment processes.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, service user ratings of accessibility improved significantly, reflecting a more inclusive and responsive service.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re proud that our poster showcasing this work was recognised in a recent competition, highlighting the impact of co-produced, person-centred care.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordhealth.nhs.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/60\/2025\/12\/ASD-Accessibility-QI-Project-Poster-final.pptx\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-364\">ASD Accessibility QI Project Poster final<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BAADIS quality improvement (QI) project focused on making our services more accessible for autistic individuals.
