This festive edition reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to improving patients’ lives through robust research and collaboration.

Three standout highlights include:

  • Most Viewed: New insights into diabetes medications (GLP-1RAs) to treat mental ill health – research reveals these drugs may benefit cognitive and psychiatric conditions.
  • Afternoon inhaler use improves outcomes – a study shows aligning inhaled steroid use with circadian rhythms boosts effectiveness.
  • Pax-D Trial (Pramipexole) – Oxford researchers discovered that adding the Parkinson’s drug Pramipexole to antidepressants significantly reduces symptoms of treatment-resistant depression
